YanKiwi is a blending of both Californian and New Zealand cultures, hence our name YanKiwi. (Pronounced quickly; Yank and then Kiwi, we share the K.)
Tracy (the Yank) is a multi-talented photojournalist and Susan (the Kiwi), and real artist in the family, has a background in antiques and collectibles. She is our Art Director and is wild about finding Gorgeous Wee Objects aka GWOs for your pleasure and use. She has just recently entered the blogosphere with her entertaining blog: Tales of a Mad Kiwi.
Together, along with our talented design team, we bring our creative energies in both producing rubber art stamps and finding embellishments that can be used in all paper craft projects, scrap booking, book making, altered art pieces, and a multitude of arts and crafts applications. We especially feel there is a need for more specific scrap booking word stamps so have set about making oversized words etc that we believe fills a wee gap. Whilst the majority of our designs are originals, we will be including some refreshed favorites with our own twist. The quality control is keenly monitored by Artemis our 18 year old Siamese, who recently lost her beloved sister Luba, they have had their mug shots taken and star in our Wild Things stamps.
